Ryder and I got to spend about 10 days in Colorado last month. First, some of the details:
Gnarled roots. We saw a lot of these, and I really liked them.
Aspen trees, their yellow leaves, and their shadows.
A bright red tree stump – burnt perhaps? Or naturally colored? We saw a lot of these bright red exposed tree insides.
Another anomaly – distinctly twisted tree trunks. I speculated that this was caused by wind, but that’s just a guess.
Next up, Colorado: The Vistas
What part of Colorado?
These photos are all from hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, near Estes Park. We also were in/around Denver for two weddings on the weekends that we were there.
Cool š That’s where we were in June. I should post some of my pictures………..
