Usually it&#8217;s on the other side of the street, heading east, but right now, there&#8217;s someone stopped directly in front of our house.  I would say that I see people stopped on average twice a week.  And that&#8217;s limited to the hours I&#8217;m home, which really isn&#8217;t all that much.  <\/p>\n<p>So my question is, what do all these people get pulled over for?  Speeding?  They&#8217;d have to be going pretty fast since almost everyone does 40 anyway.  But it&#8217;s hard to get going too fast on Burton since there&#8217;s usually a lot of traffic and many stop lights.  Expired plates?  Just because the policeperson felt like it?  The one that&#8217;s sitting out there right now probably wasn&#8217;t for speeding, because the guy had to get out of his car and is now sitting in the backseat of the squad car&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m just glad I haven&#8217;t been pulled over yet.<\/p>\n<p>update: it&#8217;s now 6:30, and someone else just got pulled over&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t know what it is about where we live, but people get pulled over all the time in front of our house.
